For Sale!

Amazing boots from Pennangalan. These have hardly been worn, as good as new. Very light weight, and real patent leather. They are a eu size 40.

I´m asking 800 NOK for these babies.

Long time no blog...

Right, someone has been neglecting this blog for quite some time... Been busy with school, and I lost my camera so no videos or pictures for a while either.

What´s new:

- working hard at school, typography FTW!
- spring is finally here, survived a very long, hard winter.
- I´ve changed my lifestyle around when it comes to eating right and excersice.
- Had a quiet winter, spent mostly at home.
- Inferno festival in Oslo this easter was awesome!
- I have met the one! :D

And, because I always make things easy for myself, I had to fall for a guy that doesn´t live in Norway... Not even Europe! Damn New York City!
Soooo, I´ll put a post up with some stuff for sale over the next few days. I need money for a new camera and a plane ticket to go be with my man this summer!

Halloween preperations :)

Right, I have never really had much to do with Halloween, seeing that it is not a commonly celebrated holiday here in boring Norway. But, as the economical evilness is introdusing it to our kids via the shops more and more each year, I figured I might as well get sucked in! Ha ha! Well, it is really a very kewl holiday, the problem is that kids here doen't have the tradition and knowledge to act properly. They just throw eggs and act like idiots even tho they are not trick or treating.

Anyway, I have been making some home made salt based play dough, and created a cute little Halloween bat out of it. I made a video on the actual dough, with the recipe. There's plenty of them out there, but this is the one I have been using over the years. Mum tought me this when I was a kid, and my little bathroom door sign is still hanging on my parents toilet door. That tells me this is hardcore stuff, and it last at least 20 years! ( Jeez I'm getting ancient...)

The second video is of the actual making of the bat. Hope you enjoy! I am defenately making more Halloween videos, perhaps some make up or something. We'll see. Kinda been a little busy lately as well, so, not much time for videos.

I have been waiting for this for quite some time now, and now I have tickets. Squeee! I just found out last night, and my wonderful Mum got me the ticket cuz I got so excited. Bless her!
So, on the 14th of January I will be rocking my little fishnet stockings off at John Dee in Oslo with these hunky looking Finns.

Life is good after all :)

Lady Gaga inspired hair bow, with a lolita twist.

I am not a big fan of this Lady Gaga's music, but she's got a funky style! I saw a picture of her in a Norwegian tabloid newspaper, and got inspired to try to make something like what she was wearing. I wanted to make it a tad smaller, and with lenghts of hair flowing down as ribbons in your hair. Kind of gothic lolita-ish.

So, this is what mine looks like:

I know you can buy these sort of bows online, but they are expencive and often not very well made. So, I made a tutorial so you can give it a go yourself.

Todays outfit :)

Purple hat I found on the bus once.
Skull scarf from eBay
Purple and black oversize shirt from h&m
Long sleeve cotton jumper from h&m
Tights/leggings from a flea market years ago
Legwarmers with satin ribbon from Cubus
Polkadot hi tops from American Vans

Early morning chillout time!

I got up at 5 this morning, just to find out half hour later that my morning lecture was cancelled due to illness. Hooray! I could have slept for another 2 hours! But, I am up, dressed and ready to go, so I decided to have a nice and slow morning instead. I got a fire going, bread cooking in the oven, and it's actually quite nice.
So, what has she been up to? Actually not that much. School is really slow in the start, I kinda wish it was more to do, but then again I guess I should be happy for the easy start. It will get worse! But I like it. On the weekend I had dinner with the family at our cabin, then went out to the local "moose" festival! What a shockingly redneck event, but hey, it was fun. My sis in-law and her sister had a blast, and it was well worth it, if not just to watch all the funny people being uber rednecks :P
i did a bad thing yesterday. I bought another pair of shoes! But I so wanted some Vans, and they are great for school, comfy, yet still funky! So, here they are! My super-fun happy-make-feel-nice polkadot Vans, that I got on sale, for next to nothing.

Aren't they cute? I know my blog is getting a little shoe crazy, I also added 3 other shoe related videos on youtube. They're not really any makingthings material, but what the heck. I like shoes!

Check them out :)

Have a wonderful day!
